Event planning and community go hand in hand for Talk of the Town.  “Our mission is to create events that promote what the community has to offer” says CEO (Community Event Organizer) Jennifer Anderson.  “We want to spread the word about all of the wonderful businesses and resources the community has to offer to its residents.

The first endeavor for Talk of the Town is “Stilettos & Sneakers”.  The idea for this show has come on the heels of the very popular 2nd annual Georgina Cares Kidfest.  As the creator and organizer of the event (on behalf of Georgina Cares) Jennifer understands the importance of showcasing what is available to residents in their own backyard.

And as the host of the popular Parenting Show on Rogers TV, Jennifer also knows the importance of “Me” time.  “I hear moms call in to the show week after week frazzled about feedings or at their wit’s end over sibling rivalry.  While this day is offered to women of all ages, I want to give ladies the opportunity to have some time to themselves and resources to book a day out in the future (at the salon!) take a course or make a lifestyle change (healthier life, here I come!).”

But Stilettos & Sneakers is only just the beginning for Talk of the Town.  Please drop us a line with events you would like to see in your community (in the Greater Toronto Area).  We aren’t just creating events that talk about the town…we create shows the town is talking about!
