2012 Show Info
After a successful first year in Newmarket, Stilettos& Sneakers Lifestyle Show for Women is making it’s return to town, this time at the newly opened Newmarket Community Centre! On Saturday, March 24th, the 5-hour event will feature vendors, demonstrations and displays devoted to women of all ages. Anyone with a business/activity/organization related to women in the Georgina area will want to be at the show!
Giving Back to the Community
We are thrilled to announce our newest addition to the show…A Purse Auction!!!!! We couldn’t think of anything better to auction during an event filled with ladies! Donations of new and gently used purses are now being accepted. And, as always, 100% of the proceeds from our auction will go to the Ontario Breast Screening Program at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Attendance
We are thrilled with the way this show was received our first year in Newmarket. Despite waking up to an unexpected snowstorm, the event still received just over 300 women! This year, with a new location (not to mention a later date), we are gearing up to make this event bigger and better! As always (and this is very important to us), the show is free for the community. Swag Bags will be distributed to the first 300 women through the door as a handy carry-all at the show. They are already filled with lots of goodies before you event hit the first display.
Ladies will also receive a 16-page, full-colour program at the door. Produced by the Georgina Advocate, this glossy magazine will be a wonderful resource to take home. Inside; articles, recipes and a directory of all the vendors at the show will keep you returning to the pages for months to come.
